Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A chassis replacement involves removing the old or damaged chassis of a vehicle and installing a new one. This is often necessary to maintain the structural integrity and performance of the vehicle.

Reasons for replacing a chassis include severe rust, structural damage from accidents, or general wear and tear that compromises safety and performance.

We only use chassis supplied by Marsland, which are 100% British manufactured and are made to the highest possible standards.

This depends on the extent of the damage. Minor issues might be repairable, but significant damage typically necessitates a full replacement to ensure the vehicle's integrity and safety. If you are unsure, we can carry out an inspection and advise further.

Our labour costs for chassis fitting is £2000 + VAT. The cost of the chassis itself varies depending on specifications. Get in touch for more info.

While the chassis is the main component, it's often recommended to inspect and possibly replace other parts such as suspension components, brake lines, and exhaust systems during the process to ensure optimal performance and safety.
